Good morning,
Next week, the RNC is starting. As many of you may know, I am on the Platform committee and spent Monday working on the platform with Russ Vought and Randy Evans. We worked very hard on it and had a lot of input. Two things came to mind in this process. First, many people are Republicans, but they may have differences on one or two issues. It is a careful balance to make sure they are all represented. Even more, with the 2024 platform we are in the unique circumstance of being able to look back at our nominee’s previous term and evaluate his successes to guide our platform and policy going forward. Trump has already been President, so we know what policies he wants to pursue and what works.
All the best.
Ed
