WYNK: The Lawfare Racket
How the law industry has turned into a racket.
Good morning,
Part of the problem with lawfare is that the pursuit of legal justice has allowed lawyering to turn into a racket of sorts. In many class action lawsuits, the lawyers often make more from the settlement than the plaintiffs. We are seeing more and more of a law racket. Lawfare is a symptom of the deterioration of the American legal system into a racket. This has been encouraged by the lack of accountability. The system has been set up so that attorneys make lots of money, which skews the incentives. This needs to be fixed!
